Oct 31, 2005 - Happy Halloween!
So far, both of the semi-final fights from Ultimate
Fighter 2 have been great. Tonight saw Rashad and Keith duke it out in a
bloody free-for-all with Rashad coming out on top. Tomorrow, there will be two
fights in one episode, and I'm excited to see the fight between Brad (who's
gigantic) and Seth (who's good at taking out guys who are gigantic).
Oct 30, 2005 - Right now I'm working on an idea I had for a space combat game. There's more about it here.
Also, there's tons of Ultimate Fighter 2 this week. The first heavyweight semi-final
tomorrow at 11, then heavyweight and welterweight fights on Tuesday at 11, and
the Finals on Saturday at 9. Mmmm, fightin'.
Oct 19, 2005 - Do you find yourself itching to play "Where in the World is Carmine Sandiego" or perhaps "X-Com: Terror From the Deep"? Well, just head on over to Abandonia, a website devoted to "abandon-ware" or games whose creators no longer care about trying to make money off of. There are tons of old PC games available there for download, so go have a ball remembering your childhood, wasted away playing Sid Meier's Pirates.
Oct 17, 2005 - I just picked up a copy of Games International #22 which included the Sir Bedivere figurine for Shadows Over Camelot. Time for some 8 player craziness!
Oct 09, 2005 - Wow. Project Offset. Step 1, watch video. Step 2, poop
drawers.
Oct 08, 2005 -
Check out Unwilling, my friend Andrew's band. They finally have a new drummer, and I can't wait to hear more from them.
Oct 02, 2005 - My mom's birthday party was yesterday, and was great
fun. We went out to dinner to an Italian place in Dumfries called Tiziano's,
and showered her with gifts. Her big present this year is a new computer which
my dad, myself, and my siblings all chipped in on. I can't believe my mom is
60 years old, and few people who meet her do either. It also marked the fourth
anniversary for Beth and I. I got her a card and she forgot. At least she didn't
get me a bowling ball with her name etched on it.
